๐ŸŽ„ Wishing you all a happy holiday and prosperous new year ๐ŸŽ…๐Ÿป๐ŸŽ

by Sandwell LibDems on 23 December, 2023

Thank you for your support during 2023. We would like to wish all our members and supporters a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

2024 will be a busy year with local elections in May, along with West Midlands Mayoral elections, and quite possibly a General Election. A General Election is not required until Spring 2025, but most people expect it to be held in the autumn unless Rishi Sunak decides to combine it with the local elections. Help us prepare for a busy year by Joining Us or registering as a Volunteer.

You can see our new Executive Committee, and some of our activists, for next year below.

We would also like to thank you to all those of you who supported local campaigns, such as the cross-party campaign to Save Brandhall Green Space with Jay and the local Action Group, Clive’s campaign to Save the Allbright Mural at Langley Baths, and our joint campaigns with Beacon Action Group to protect the Green Belt in Great Barr.

And as a little light reading for the holidays, a reminder of some of our policies on recent national issues.
